That book in a Sun-burned Country about travels in Australia was just a hoot. I laughed out loud almost all the time I was reading it! (And I have never been to Australia–yet!)

Bill Bryson has some great books related to travel. In particular “In a Sunburned Country” is great for the long plane ride to Australia. It humorously introduces you to some of the ‘unique’ things about Australia. And he has a good one about Europe too, “Neither Here Nor There-
Travels in Europe”.
