Credit Card Travel Tip

Make sure you call your credit card company before you head out on that vacation. Recently, my card stopped working at an inopportune time while I was away from home.

A hold was put on my account when what seemed like strange purchases started showing up. Charges far from home or for big ticket items can raise red flags. A quick phone call resolved the issue. Kudos to the company for looking out for the customer. There was no problem and I was back to having fun.

Next time I’ll let them know when I am on vacation.
